形容詞のdestination
destinationと言えば、「目的地、行き先」などという意味で使われることが多いですが、たまに見聞きするdestination restaurantやdestination weddingなどという表現があります。
なんとなく分かるような気もするのですが、こういう形容詞的な使われ方のdestinationの定義はどうなっているのかと気になり、調べたところ、下記のよう載っていました。
Noting an attraction or event that people are willing to travel a long distance to get to, either because it's very good or distinctive or because it's located in a popular and interesting place.
（とても素晴らしかったり、独特であったり、人気のある興味のある場所という理由から、アトラクションやイベントに注目して、人々が遠くからでも喜んで行くようなこと）
簡単に言えば、「遠くからでも人が、わざわざ行くような」という訳がいいのではないかと思います。
The restaurant that people will make a special trip to visit.= destination restaurant ということですね。
ついでに、make a special trip to（わざわざ....する。）は、日常よく使います。
例えば、ミルクがなくなって、それだけを買いに行かないといけないなあと、面倒くさがっていたりすると、You don't need to make a special trip to just get milk. I will get it on the way home from work.（わざわざミルクを買うためだけに行かなくていいよ。僕が仕事帰りに買ってかえるから。）というように使えます。
